I’m pleased that I made your day. You are so clever with your ingredients. The fig newtons which we call fig bars here are a favourite of mine, I have lots of favourites! When you buy them at the supermarket nowadays the flavour is just not there anymore. Yours sounded really nice to try. I have never eaten almonds much apart from scorched almonds (chocolate covered ones) and we use almond icing for Christmas cakes. So almond flour is new for me. I don’t even have it in the pantry yet. On the list to get!
